In an effort to simplify the ordering process, the Southern Illinois University Purchasing Department and Stiles Office Solutions, Inc. have developed the following informational material to help answer any questions you may have concerning how to acquire a new SHARP Digital Copying System.

Below you will find three sections that will provide all the information necessary to bring a new SHARP Digital Copying System into your office.

The first section is the PROGRAM OVERVIEW. In this section we will try to answer questions you may have regarding the Cost Per Copy Program that has been designed specifically for Southern Illinois University.

The second section is a chart entitled AVAILABLE MODELS. This chart will help determine which system and features will be most beneficial to your office.  In the first column you will find a listing of the features that are included with each machine as well as a listing of optional features from which to choose.  The middle column provides a picture of each system, while the third column contains a link providing system information and specifications.  Simply click that link to receive detailed information regarding the system of your choice.

The Third Section is an INFORMATION REQUEST FORM. Complete this section and click the submit request button to have a representative of Stiles Office Solutions, Inc. contact you no later than the next business day.  The representative will help you determine which system and features will best suit your needs.  He/She will then configure the pricing information for your new system and provide you with the paperwork necessary to complete the order

 

Program Overview

What is a Cost Per Copy Program?

The SIU Cost Per Copy Program is an all inclusive contract which provides everything necessary to use your new system on a daily basis.  In other words, you receive the SHARP Copying System, toner, developer, parts, labor, preventative maintenance, drums, staples, etc. for the life of your machine.  The only item not provided is copier paper.  In exchange for this service you pay a determined cost for each copy you make.  This allows you to pay only for the copies you use and assures you of no outside expenditures on your system.

Are there any hidden costs that I should be aware of?

ABSOLUTELY NOT! As stated above, the only additional cost that you will have concerning your new Sharp Copying System is for the paper you use.

How do I get a new SHARP Copying System?

This is the easy part.  All you have to do is complete the Information Request Format the bottom of this page and a Stiles representative will contact you no later than the next business day to begin the process.  He/She will do all of the work necessary to be certain you get a new system in the shortest amount of time possible.
